Failed Future Foretold? or Faith Finally Found?
What is the Book About?
We trace the Truth of the Founding of our Nation, its rise to God-directed responsibility and righteous leadership in the world, then its progression toward increasing moral decay starting most visibly in the 20th Century. I discuss what we citizens who love our America must do to restore America to God’s intended place for us in the World. It is not an exhaustive study, but it lists some of our flagrant problems needing attention. Six chapters detail problems in the Social and Moral areas and seven chapters detail problems in our National Defense and Governance areas needing correction.
Who Is It Written For?
1st: It is written for all American Citizens. We all need to see clearly what we have done to ourselves. And we each should become active in our Praying and in our contact with our elected/appointed leaders to have them get going with positive corrective actions.
2nd: It is written also for our elected National and State leaderships, predominantly our President and all 50 Governors. These leaders are not unaware of our declining situation, but some are happy to see us descend into chaos and communism. But most are deeply frustrated by their seeming inability to get any part of it turned around. Hopefully, our ideas provide some paths toward correction.
What Action is Expected and From Whom?
Thoughtful and determined action must be expected from our National and State Leaders. They must be determined to take positive corrective actions in each problem area to turn our nation around, to put her back on the path of righteous governance. Obviously the top executives at the Federal and State levels must take prudent charge of the efforts, but they should eagerly enlist the help of the many citizens who have longed to see this recovery effort started. It should be clear to them that they cannot do it without the same Heavenly Help and Direction that propelled our Founders (in particular, President George Washington and the authors of our Declaration of Independence and our profoundly unique US Constitution). For specific personal actions, read and follow Appendix 3’s last two pages entitled “Actions Required to Set Things Right Again”.
A Fundamental Question:
Our Bible-believing Founding Fathers created America to serve a nation of mainly godly people! How can we not see that our only way to recover is to return to worship and follow that same God? He will help us rebuild our Nation and reestablish our National Foundations once again on Faith in the God of the Bible and Freedom to pursue our own moral Endeavors. In the Old Testament stories of Israel’s ups and downs, it should be obvious that we, too, must come back to the worship of our God, if we are to recover. Only the Wise will learn from such profound examples…
